Trying

hello bloggers.
as promised its only been a matter of weeks rather than the usual few months and i thought i would try and keep to my promise of writing a bit more frequently on this web page of ours.
we went for maddisyns specialist appointment. not long after my last post. although her left leg is a few more inches longer than the other leg, thankfully the turning in of her feet doesn't originate from her hips so it saves a lot of operations and such to correct it. instead it seems that it just the way that she has chosen to walk that has caused the turning in probs and they expect her to grow out of it whew. now only the ears to deal with. hopefully the operation next month finally fixes her glue ear. fingers crossed everyone.
it is the end of the school hols thank god. it hasn't been too bad this time round though the kids have been stuck in the house for most of the last week due to bad weather and then finally the storm that they have been promising us for the last couple of weeks. it was pretty feral Thurs and Fri but today was pretty good. we saw blue sky!!!
we had the pleasure of looking after ruby and jasper Thurs nite as their mum and dad went out to celebrate their anniversary. i tried to jinx them so that billy would come on the same day but alas, my powers aren't that willing and poor liane is stuck waiting it out. would've been cool though if billy had been obliging. what an awesome anniversary gift. still hes only days away now.
mm what else. oh yea. as one of the leading hands at work, Andrew got it into his head to do a team building thing and invited his boys over for a get together next weekend. u know, watch the all blacks(even the Ozzie) have a lovely dinner and a few drinks. well that escalated into the other leading hand and all his boys coming as well as as the bosses. and all their families. and a lovely small get together has turned into lamb on the spit, 3 course meal and a party that night. HELP. i can handle the guys, hell i get along with all the ones Ive met. unfortunately some of their wives are another story. they just act so prissy and up themselves and anyone who knows me know that to me no-one is better than anyone, regardless of the way they have been brought up or the way they live. and im not shy to call a snob a snob to their face (tho i do show tact when it comes to family members. i just avoid talking to them lol) and i get out of the party and cleaning the mess since i have to work the next day haha. ill try and get some good photos and post them.
